The peaceful Village of WillowWolf has lived its simple way of life for centuries, protected from the rest of the world by the tall mountains that surround them. One day a stranger comes into the Village; the first stranger since the Great War. He's wounded badly and nearly starved to death; and he tells strange stories of an army being built. None of the Villagers believe him until a group of teenaged kids sees a small group of strangers watching the Village. But when they tell of what they saw no one believes them either, saying that the rest of the world would never start another war.
